The first self-initiated project by the designers-group
"LINK-"
was 'LINK-architecture 1:1' at the Dutch Institute for Architecture,
in which the participating designers explored the grey area between
architecture and design.
Daniel White's project in this exhibition was 'Scaled
details' in which he made some additions to the NAi-building.
Surprising, funny or strange scenes were added to change the context
of certain details.
By changing the context of the detail, the perception of scale also
changed. This change of scale was a pleasant surprise for the observant
visitor. It also served to highlight an otherwise unobtrusive, often
overlooked detail.
