Every year on 'The day of Arcitecture' the BAI and the BNA organize a competition. In 2004 this was to design a bridge connecting an urban area with nature. To do this one had to cross a swamp.

Daniel White teamed up with architect Nienke Bouwhuis and engineer Hilbertjan Kuijer to design this open bridge. It is made up of 6 meter long prefabricated sections made of steel and recycled wood.
The bridge was nominated.
