This lightweight Shrunken Chair is made from expanded-polystyrene, covered with a circular knitted fabric, drained in pigmented resin. After hardening in a vacuum the chair remains superlight but has shrunk about 10%. It has also become about 10 times stronger.
The chair was designed by Daniel White, the technique was created by B. Pot.
